WATER/WASTEWATER PLANT OPERATORS

The Town of Gretna is seeking applications for two (2) combination water/wastewater plant operators with a minimum Class 3 license issued by the State of Virginia.  The Town will also consider unlicensed applicants with a minimum of a high school diploma for entrance into an on-the-job training program to obtain the required licenses.  Unlicensed applicants shall be required to obtain both licenses within a minimum of 18 months for each license.  Applications may be obtained from the Town of Gretna by calling 434-656-6572 or directly from the Town of Gretna office located at 107 South Shelton Street – Gretna, Virginia.  Applications shall be directed to Bill Gillespie – Interim Town Manager at the address noted above.
